Chinese Soy Dipping Sauce
Serve this sauce with any grilled meat, fish or vegetable. Keep it in the fridge for 3-4 days. Add finely chopped chilli to it to heat it up. You'll find sweet mirin in the Asian shops. Substitute the shallot with red or white onion if you need to.
Dijon Vinaigrette Sauce
Using different mustards can give your dressing a new twist. Dijon is a classic but feel free to vary it and try champagne, tarragon and peppercorn flavoured mustards instead. You will find them in good delis and they will give new life to your vinaigrette.
